The "FABBRICA FUTURO - TECNOLOGIE, MODELLI ORGANIZZATIVI E PERSONE" (the factory of the future - technologies, organisational models and people) Conference was held on Friday, 14 October 2022. As part of the session on “Sustainability and energy management”, Gruppo LUBE took part as an exemplary company in the adoption and pursuit of a long-term environmentally-sustainable development strategy.

The discussion was focused on the concept of sustainability IN THE FURNITURE INDUSTRY, starting with adoption by LUBE, since 2000, of an environmentally-friendly panel (raw material used for the kitchen furniture) obtained from 100% recovered material, and on the key role of product certification, in terms of both sustainability certification for the company and as a means of conveying the quality of the products and the materials used (Made in Italy, Greenguard, FSC) by Gruppo LUBE.

Also in regard to GREEN ENERGY and the decisive role of major companies in terms of contribution to the GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEM, the commitment of LUBE is a precursor of the current initiatives, with totally green production since 2010, through its 40,800 m2 of photovoltaic panels, capable of supplying 6.2 MWp of power and allowing a reduction of 13,870 tons in C02 emissions into the environment, together with constant energy monitoring to limit consumption and waste (dust extraction, lighting, air conditioning).
