The evocation of an archetypical village, spontaneous and consolidated example of vernacular architecture, it’s the prompt, the original idea that inspiring Mirko Tattarini for designing the whole NIDO showroom, one of the major interiors retail actors in Sofia and in the whole Bulgaria, managed by the brothers Jordan and Sotir Abadjiev and a main reference for the best brands of Italian design in the country, choosing LUBE regarding the kitchens.
There are 5 models of the Italian brand displayed in this fantastic show-room: Adele, Noemi ( 2 compositions), Essenza and Pamela regarding the modern collection, and Claudia representing the classic one.
It’s good to remark that the original space, about 500sqm born for hosting a car showroom and characterized by a glass and steel architecture with a certain modernist as well as cold anonymous taste, dialogues with number of wooden little houses with a typical pitched roof.
Designed as structures in the structure, in a continuous cross reference with the wider horizon of the containinf space, the little houses create, through their passages and intersections, an apparently disarticulated space. The visitor him/herself can discover, just like a game, the connections and the multiple references: passing from stair to stair, from bridge to bridge one can experience the discover of informal niches opening inside the houses themselves, where inhabiting becomes more intimate and colloquial and where
each ambient stimulates a progressive sliding of points of view.
In Bulgaria the brand Cucine Lube is available in more than ten stores, located in major cities.
